Each vendor's own pricing page, read on 15 October 2026: Deputy, Planday, RotaCloud, Rotaready Evo, 7shifts, Connecteam, When I Work, Sling, Bizimply. We make FireAttend; its prices are on our pricing page.
It depends on your headcount. For up to 10 users, Connecteam's free plan includes a time clock. From nine staff up, FireAttend's £26 a month per shop is lower than the cheapest clock-in plans from Deputy, Planday and RotaCloud, and it stays £26 at 20 or 30 staff. Below that, those plans can cost less. Prices were checked on 15 October 2026.
Connecteam's Small Business plan is free for up to 10 users with the time clock included. Sling and 7shifts have free plans, but they don't include time tracking. FireAttend has a 60-day free trial rather than a free plan.
Of the apps here, FireAttend and RotaCloud are UK companies, Bizimply has London and Dublin offices, Rotaready is part of The Access Group, and Deputy and Planday have UK pricing pages. Connecteam, When I Work, Sling and 7shifts show prices in US or Canadian dollars.
No. Most of these apps let staff clock in on their own phones, often with a location check. Some also offer a shared tablet kiosk. FireAttend uses a tag by the door: Android phones tap it and iPhones scan its QR code.
60 days free, then £6 a week per shop, however many staff you employ.
